Flipping Pancakes at Headway North Cumbria

Everybody loves pancakes, so Headway North Cumbria celebrated Shrove Tuesday, a day early,  during its weekly drop in session at the New Warterton Hall in Carlisle.

Every week during its Day Centre session a cookery group is run to allow members to learn kitchen skills and master new recipes.  On Monday 12 February 2018 traditional pancakes were made using a recipe from the Headway Pancake Party Booklet.

Our chefs for the day prepared the batter, cooked and tossed the pancakes and then shared them with a choice of fillings with other Day Centre attendees.


As you can see from the photos above our chefs had a lot of fun and soon mastered their techniques for flipping the pancakes as demonstrated in the short video below.
