The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Headway North Cumbria was held on Monday 26th March 2018, at 1400 hrs, at the New Waterton Hall, Carlisle. Thirty seven members were in attendance.
The event started with a complimentary buffet lunch.
The following items were discussed and/or presented:
The minutes of the last AGM held on 8 March 2017 were approved.
The Chair, Andrew Kirkpatrick, presented his annual report.
The Committee for the coming year was elected.
The Treasurer, Val Lowe gave a report on the 2017 Financial Accounts.
A slideshow on Headway North Cumbria’s visit to Look Ahead in the North 2018 at the Calvert Trust, Kielder Forest 16 – 18 March, was shown (for more information please view the report that can be found here)
The Secretary, Natalie Simpson, outlined the activities planned for 2018 (more details can be found on the Events page).
In additional to routine AGM activities Liam Carroll made a donation of £500 to Headway North Cumbria.
Jean Wight thanked Darren Gallagher for his administrative tasks at the door, Dee Falder for offering hand massages during the meetings and wished Christine Shirbon a very happy birthday.
