Hats for Headway Day

Hats for Headway Day takes place during Action for Brain Injury Week (14-20 May 2018) and is designed as a simple, fun, and easy way to raise vital funds for Headway – the brain injury association and its groups and branches across the UK.  Headway North Cumbria held its Hats for Headway Day on Monday 14 May 2018 as part of the normal activities at the Day Centre at New Waterton Hall.

In a change to what has been done in previous years, this year it had been decided to theme the activities on a Teddy Bears Picnic.  Members were encouraged to attend the Day Centre accompanied by a teddy bear (or other cuddly toy) suitably attired in a hat and other appropriate clothing.   Members were invited to support their bears by also wearing hats.
