Headway North Cumbria’s Christmas Fair was held in The Victory Hall in Dalston on Saturday 10 November 2018. Doors opened at 10 o’clock with a steady flow of visitors during the two hours that the Fair was open.
Visitors were able to sample home-made mince pies and biscuits and a hot drink and meet up with friends and members of Headway North Cumbria.
Headway North Cumbria ran a variety of stalls including a raffle and a tombola. Cake, card and crafts stalls sold a range of products made by its members, volunteers and supporters.
Invited vendors, Bags of Fun, Carrock Crafts, Creative Wellbeing, Flowers by Design, Unique Jewellery Design, and Elizabeth Webster, offered a wide range of festive items including handmade jewellery, beaded jewellery, floral decorations, Christmas ornaments, felted cards, needlework, knitwear and handmade bags.
There was a wonderful atmosphere throughout the whole morning as, it is hoped, the photographs indicate.
Headway North Cumbria is grateful to its team of volunteers, members and supporters who worked so hard in making the event such a success and, of course, to those visitors who joined us at the Fair. Funds raised will be utilised in our core activity of providing information, support and services to people with a brain injury, their family, carers and professionals.
