Martin and Ann McCaul visited the Day Centre on 4 March 2019 and very kindly presented us with the proceeds of a collection taken in memory of their son Jamie.
Jamie Matthew McCaul, one of three brothers, had suffered a head injury from a fall when very young but had recovered well to lead a healthy life until he sadly passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly, a couple of weeks ago at the age of 25.
A Celebration of Jamie’s Life was recently held at the Carlisle Crematorium and the Royal Scot, Morton. Guests were invited to make donations to be forwarded to Headway North Cumbria. A total of £546 was collected.
Headway North Cumbria offers its sincere condolences to the McCaul family at this very difficult time. We are extremely grateful to all those who attended Jamie’s Celebration of Life and gave so generously – the funds raised will be utilised to support those affected by brain injuries, their families, and carers.
