David to Undertake Walk around Ullswater to Raise Funds for Headway North Cumbria

David Wilson, father of member Helen Wilson, is fundraising for Headway North Cumbria by undertaking a sponsored walk.  He will be walking around Ullswater, the second largest lake in the Lake District, on 7 August 2020.

He has opened a JustGiving page and set a fundraising target of £500.  In less than 24 hours he was already halfway to that target!!  Well done David.

Two years ago David raised £ 1015 for Headway North Cumbria by walking along the Hadrian’s Wall Walk from Heddon-on-the-Wall to Bowness-on-Solway – a total of 68 miles.  Details of this can be found in an article that was posted to the website at the time:

Headway North Cumbria is entirely self-funded and is dependent on supporters, such as David, to generate the funds that allow it to offer the range of services and activities that it does.  We would therefore like to thank David for his fundraising efforts over the past few years and wish him all the very best for his walk around Ullswater.
